Cooltek announces MT-03 Mini Tower and the KX Orange & White
Cooltek announce the arrival of several new products. At the front of those is the MT-03, a midi tower for Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX systems, which can be used in a variety of roles – for example as work station in an office or as a compact gaming system. In addition to that, two more color variants of the very well-liked KX have reached us.
The compact MT-03 offers a discreet, completely black design with generous MESH-elements in the front and top cover. A LED element at the top of the front panel hosts both the power- and the HDD-LED. The I/O-panel with its two USB 3.0 and HD Audio connectors, as well as the power button are located on the left side of the front. A card reader for SD, MMC and MS cards is hidden on the right side.
The interior of the case is separated in two different zones. The lower location holds the PSU mounting space, as well as a 2-bay HDD cage. The PSU comes with a dust filter underneath the chassis, thus creating a closed loop for the air circulation. This makes it independent from the upper zone with the CPU and the graphics card.
The before mentioned HDD case allows the tool-free installation of two 3.5 inch drives. Two 2.5 inch SSD can be mounted on the motherboard tray. Four PCI slots are available at the rear of the case for the installation of expansion cards. VGA cards with a maximum length of 340 mm and CPU-coolers with a maximum height of 165 mm can be mounted in the MT-03. A generous cable management completes the convincing overall package.
The KX is a stylish yet functional midi tower, which shines due to its outstanding price-performance ratio. A total of five different colors – blue, green, orange, red and white – are now available. Two exterior 5.25 inch drive bays are available for the installation of optical drives.
VGA cards of up to 330 mm length and CPU coolers with a height of 155 mm can be installed in the KX tower. At the rear a total of six PCI slots for the installation of expansion cards are available. The top cover offers a recess that can be used to hold smartphones or external drives.
The HDD cage can be equipped with two 3.5 inch drives, a third can be mounted underneath the 5.25 inch bays. One 2.5 inch SSD each can be mounted on top of the HDD cage and the HDD wall of the case.
The MT-03 and the KX Orange and White are available in stores now. The MSRP for the MT-03 is 29.99 Euro, while that of the KX is 27.99 Euro; all prices including 19% VAT.
