Microsoft may soon drop VISTA
REDMOND, Wash., May 4 (UPI) — U.S. software giant Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) may stop selling its Windows Vista operating system as soon as an upgraded version is available, a company manager said.
The company is “still not sure if (computer manufacturers) will be able to ship Vista once Windows 7 is made available,” General Manager Richard Francis wrote in a recent e-mail, IDG News reported Monday.
