RV870 ships with 1 or 2GB RAM
A product comparison showing Cypress, RV870, with 1GB or 2GB RAM has stirred up some more additional confusion on the memory configurations of the next generation graphics circuits from AMD/ATI. There have been many indications that AMD would go for an unorthodox setup instead of the regular 128/256/512-bit configuration. But when a product comparison shows Cypress with 1 or 2GB RAM it adds to the confusion. Nothing is certain as of yet.
