NZXT H440 Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Admin Chassis 3882

It doesn’t matter that the window is not full length, a big portion of the chassis is made up of the drive bays, which are accessible from the cable side of the chassis. The chassis also includes thumbscrews that stay in the panel being removed, and to be honest, we didn’t like them. They often failed in one form or another and genuinely prevented a quick operation when required.

There is an excellent fan header, though it is a three pin block and so will not support PWM fans, which is of minor disappointment.

The front has three 120mm fans and a dust filter that is magnetically latched to the chassis, it is a quick and effective filter. The main two features of the removable panels are air vents and sound proofing.

They do not look like they will be any good at helping with airflow!

This is probably a bit of a Marmite chassis, if you plan big it may just put you in your place with niggling little fitment issues, but install a Fury X and an AIO, and nothing can touch it. Your best SSD's will be on show as well, this could be a superb LAN party chassis but if you get it right, it will be the showcase of your bedroom. Recommended.
