On the back of the NF-F12 below you’ll also see more aero work in the bracing of the fan structure. The NF-A14 at the bottom doesn’t have this, but it has some sculpted fan blades instead.
They make for a good-looking set of fans. The brown and black combination is an unusual colour scheme.
If you look closely you will see some golf ball style dents just where the fan tips move past the structure, on both fans. They are Inner Surface Microstructures and the miniature dents at the inside of the fan frame create a turbulent boundary layer when the fan blades pass by.

The Noctua industrialPPC fans that we have tested in this review have impressed us. It's probably a little unfair to pitch them against the humble stock chassis fan, but most people will have them right now in their system and any upgrade is always a welcome one. The Noctua industrialPPC fans are not aimed at the average desktop end-user, but they can be applied with success.
