The Kabuto 3 doesn’t arrive with a lot of accessories, 2x Mounting clips (Intel), Mounting clip (AMD), 1x Mounting bar, 2x screws, 2x fan clips, some thermal paste and the installation manual. It’s enough to get you going, though as stated, no LGA2011-v3 support which helps to cut down the number of parts included. In fact, if you look at what’s included, it’s a very simple setup.

This one is a little tricky to photograph, its a bit top heavy. So, we’ll rest it on its side for the profile shots. Below, the GlideStream fan covers the whole of the topside. You do not need to remove this fan for mounting, the heatsink mounts just like a stock cooler.

The base has plenty of room around it, there is a lot of airflow potential, and of course, the little mounting top plate also acts like a mini heatsink of its own, though it’s probably not doing much. The fins are quite thick and well spaced out, there will be a lot of airflow potential here as well.

The Kabuto 3 hasn't topped any charts in our review, but it hasn't been at the bottom either. It's an uncomplicated CPU cooler, and has performance to offer for most AMD and Intel CPUs. The biggest downsides from our point of view is the lack of LGA2011v3 support, and the slightly stock cooler mounting system.
