Cooltek CT GT-04 Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Admin Chassis 1158

On the rear side of the panel, we roughly tidied the chassis but as with our chassis reviews, we didn’t try too hard.

Cooltek include some cable ties, not too many though, so we used some spare ties in a couple of locations.

There is enough room for the cabling not to interfere with the side panel and though not a main feature of the chassis, we were a little spoiled for choice when cabling up. No rubber grommets though, but the chassis openings have rounded edges, so not to rub your braiding away.

You will get two graphics cards in without too many issues, and cooling should be ok with the venting in this chassis.

There is a lot of area that can be used on the back side. The drive caddies have some headroom for cabling, though only for three HDD’s and two SDD’s. It is slightly limiting, but it is a fair amount of storage space, and remember the dock at the top allows for more expansion, along with the optical drive bays.

It also has some good features to get you going, it's a bit of an all in one chassis with a card reader, an external drive dock and a fan controller all built in. It is not a Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 Rev.B level chassis, but it is not far off for some of the specifications, and stripped bare, you could be forgiven for thinking the Cooltek CT GT-04 is a higher end chassis for a low price.
