The gaps for the optional front panel IO are a little unsightly, a blanking plate could have been provided to tidy the area up. Though, it wouldn’t be too hard to make an IO panel or a blanking plate either. Good access to the PSU power connectors is a godsend, the downside for some is the cables are a bit of a mess. Not an issue for us, we will be changing the configuration a lot from build to build.
From the back there are no obstructions other than access to the 2.5″ drive bays. We’ll look at moving them to front of the motherboard tray.
Here is the illusive 2.5″ drive bay. We swapped the direction of the SSD so the SATA and power are at the rear of the chassis. In our final build, we moved the drive to the top position, as it’s our OS drive, we are less likely to remove it. The 3.5″ bay has plenty of access from or rear, so you can orientate the drive any way you want, the caddie is also removable.
