Nanoxia CoolForce 2 Chassis Review

Admin Chassis 1338

The last install point of note, the Cryorig H5 Ultimate CPU Cooler. This is 160mm in height and there is a little headroom above that in the chassis. Overall the Cryorig H5 Ultimate makes for a good edition to this chassis if you don’t intend in watercooling.

The Western Digital 4TB Red HDD is tucked nicely away, and directly in front of the airflow. You can mount SSD and HDD’s here, and with the removal of the 3.5 inch caddie at the bottom, you could get another couple of drives in here too.

Lastly, not really a party piece but the CoolForce 2 has built in lighting and a logo that lights up too. This can be switched off by the button in the cut out we mentioned in at the start of the review.

Conclusion

This is another Nanoxia chassis we really like. It is not a Deep Silence 1 Rev.B but it doesn’t need to be, it is a chassis with design touches and features all of its own. We liked the provided cable management, lighting and the amount of airflow this chassis could achieve. We also liked the green fans, though, not to everyone’s taste, and may put off some AMD fans!

The big hitters for Hardwareslave was the ModuWand, the soundproofing, the included SATA combo cables and the packaging. All of this adds up to something with a little more thought put into it than an ordinary chassis with a fancy colour scheme or window. Nice touches that changes the way you think about building your rig and pushes you to think about the built in features of the chassis and how you could utilise them. Overall, a recommended chassis.
