NZXT H440 Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Admin Chassis 3960

When the computer is up and running the H440 has another trick up its sleeve, a little black button that lights up the PCI slots, inside the chassis and the NZXT logo on the internal cowl, we never switch it off, it’s awesome. Not a new feature on chassis, cool nonetheless.

We mounted one of the 120mm fans in the top fan area as a visual reference. We found the top section flimsy and not much of a load bearing area. There is also a chamfer that really compromised the types of radiator you can install, and as with the front, there are some clearance issues due to this. The NZXT Kraken X61 AIO CPU Cooler fits perfectly though!

The chassis lends itself to the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X really well, with the radiator mounted in the front for example or using the rear exhaust fan which can also house 120mm fans.

The colour schemes are a match made in heaven, with the textures a nice blend.

This is probably a bit of a Marmite chassis, if you plan big it may just put you in your place with niggling little fitment issues, but install a Fury X and an AIO, and nothing can touch it. Your best SSD's will be on show as well, this could be a superb LAN party chassis but if you get it right, it will be the showcase of your bedroom. Recommended.
