This is an unusual design, with a lot of heat pipes and a sizable 140mm NF-A14 PWM fan mounted below the heatsink and just above the CPU.
The heatsink is impressive and very dominant and is the main visual feature of the cooler.
The NH-C14S has a consistent footprint due to the fan position, makes an interesting visual display when mounted.

The Noctua NH-C14S is another excellent cooler with a history. The improvements and up to date socket compatibility make it a class leading cooler in certain circumstances, mainly small chassis set ups or at least cooling areas with certain spacial dimensions with high performance.
