Installation
On to the installation and because the Fuma is compatible with the LGA2011-v3 socket, we are going to use our trusty Asus Rampage V Extreme, even if it does look like it’s been left down the back of the sofa, must give it a dust one of these days!
The LGA2011-v3 socket mounting is one of the easier systems for CPU coolers we have ever seen. No back plate is required, the X99 motherboards have four screw points and every manufacturer takes advantage of them. Above is the basic mounting in place, the next stages are thermal paste and then the heatsink mounting.
The central bar is solid and there is enough space for your average sized hands to get a longish Phillips head screwdriver in there. Scythe include a small spanner for tightening the dual head screws but you’ll not get it in there with a motherboard like the Asus Rampage V Extreme, or any with raised chipset heat sinks, a screwdriver will do just fine though.

There isn't much to dislike, maybe a screwdriver could have been included, but that may have driven the price up a little. Our main complaint would be memory compatibility for some chipsets, though only a minor gripe as the fans can be re-positioned.
