Overclockers UK and HTC have officially joined together to bring Virtual Reality to life

Overclockers UK and HTC have officially joined together to bring Virtual Reality to life. ViveTM, the virtual reality system by HTC which uses 360 degree room-scale technology is now available for pre-order through the Vive website at the price of £689.

Inside the box, the Vive VR kit includes the headset, two handheld controllers, and two base stations. The full package allows the user to immerse themselves in new environments and feel completely boundless. VR is now possible in your own space.

Upgrade your hardware with Overclockers UK to get VR Ready; to ensure that you can play incredible content including Job Simulator: The 2050 Archives, Fantastic Contraption and Tilt Brush – all of which ship for a limited time with the consumer edition of Vive.

The SteamVR benchmark is an easy-to-use tool to calculate if a PC is VR Ready, Overclockers UK recommends to have 6 to 7 or above to be VR Ready at the minimum requirement.

Overclockers UK recommends either the AMD Radeon 390 graphics card, or the NVIDIA GTX 970 graphics card as the recommended graphics card requirement. For the absolute best, the user needs a score of 10 to 11 in the SteamVR benchmark, Overclockers UK highly recommends the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980Ti or Titan X and from AMD a R9 Nano, or a Fury X. Overclockers UK really recommends a high performance graphics card to achieve the very best possible VR experience.

Overclockers UK offer a full range of out of box solutions, in the form of VR Gaming PCs that have been extensively tested in-house in a vast range of configurations giving the user an excellent solution at the best possible price point starting from £749.

Virtual Reality hardware can be purchased from Overclockers UK, from upgrading your current computer system to support VR, VR compatible simulator peripherals, to complete VR computer system packages. With all of the hardware all in one place, Overclockers UK has got you covered.

VR World Congress, the UK’s largest VR Conference and Expo is around the corner and Overclockers UK are attending to demonstrate the latest VR Gaming PCs with Vive.
