You already have seen the ASUS Strix, but some photos of the PowerColor AMD R9 285 from TUL are now live as well. The Tonga based card comes with 2GB of GDDR5 graphics memory and has a factory-overclock at 945 MHz core (918 MHz reference) and 5.50 GHz on the GDDR5 memory.

Tonga will keep the basic technologies of the Radeon lineup such as Mantle, TrueAudio and XDMA for CrossFire support. The Radeon R9 285 28 nm “Tonga” GPU has 1,792 Graphics (GCN) CoreNext 1.1 shader processors, 112 TMUs, 32 ROPs. It has a 256-bit wide memory bus. isplay outputs include two dual-link DVI, and one each of HDMI and DisplayPort. The card will launch 2nd September, 2014 with a sales price of 250 USD / 225 EURO.
