MicroCool Banchetto 101 Chassis Review

Admin Chassis 1481

Here is the GTX 770, used for its length. The Rampage V is a full ATX motherboard and both have no issues, as you would expect. There are several mount posts provided for your add in cards, they do mount fine, though due to the tall and thin nature of the posts, they can be a little hard to seat properly. This means the cards you add may need a little positioning to get them seated firmly.

Nothing major, and to be expected with long thin post mounts.

The PSU can mount on either side and all standard PSU’s should mount just fine.

The 3.5 inch caddies are only mounted on one side, not an issue if they are used, but they do look a little ungainly when unused.

Our test SSDs in a bracket. The middle 5.25 inch mounting area comes with only one mount screw, for easy removal and mounting. This worked well, and opens up the middle of the chassis very quickly when needed.

Did we like it? Yes, despite its minor issues the chassis is a real showcase in anyone’s den, games room or even office. We are using it as a test rig and for now, nothing can beat it. The ease of access is amazing, allowing for reconfiguration and swapping out parts quickly. You can use this as a chassis for any type of build you want and you will see some of these in modding builds such as desk mods.
