Noctua Chromax CPU Cooler Accessories Review

What do you think? Realistically, they only add to the heavyweight Noctua brand, and other cooling manufacturers will be a little nervous about this. It also means you can have your favourite Noctua fans on any chassis, AIO Cooler and water cooling setup a little more anonymously.

Conclusion

As a review, there’s no real performance element for the Noctua Chromax range, the fans are the standard fans, just in a different colour. This is all about how it looks, and will this make a difference to the Noctua range and the beige branding that is loved or hated. Noctua is an industry-leading brand in performance and design, and that sounds a little like a tagline, but it’s something they live up to.

Cryorig, BeQuiet! and companies like Scythe all live up to the same level of performances, but more importantly, they have a standard modern look. Cryorig is slightly different, but their branding is still a little more palatable than Noctua.

With the Chromax range, Noctua are bringing themselves up to speed with the rest of the market. To be clear, it’s not that they were behind, but branding moves on with times, tastes are challenged and fashions appear. Noctua has stuck to their guns throughout all of that, and that’s to be commended.

Now though, you can have both premium cooling, and a contemporary design, and that’s only a good thing.
