Reeven Euros Cooling Fan Series Review

Admin Cooling 851

From a cooling performance standpoint the Reeven Euros performs well, better than the stock fan, though that’s to be expected as the stock fans are not PWM. The Reeven Euros does a better job at keeping the temperatures lower for longer and allowing other components to cool themselves a little more effectively.

Sometimes the improvement is going to be very minimal, but when it comes to cooling fan aftermarket replacements, you are not going to get massive gains unless you do not have any fans at all.

The sound performance is also good, at least under load test conditions. When it comes to sound performance, how loud your rig is when gaming for example, even one decibel can help and lower the distraction point of the air cooling. At idle however, the Reeven Euros does seem to contribute to the overall sound levels, though to be honest, this is to be expected with a PWM fan over a standard fan. Louder isn’t better though, it’s just understandable.

Conclusion

Fans are hard to test, there are so many variables and impacting factors. Also, it’s a subjective view when it comes to sound performance, and though we used a digital meter, end-user tolerance can vary. We also haven’t spoken about how this fan looks, it is not the usual Reeven yellow and black, but a more anonymous colour scheme which we quite like.

The Reeven Euros is also very cheap, under 10 US dollars at the time of writing. It’s not too hard to call this one, we much prefer the Reeven Euros over the stock fan included in the test chassis, but we appreciate that’s probably a given for most people.

In terms of the Reeven Euros as a product, we would be happy to include them in a build without fear of a cooling disaster, and instead, knowing they are a capable performer.
