Crysis 3 UHD next, and this game never had a reputation for being nice to the latest GPU, however much it costs or its status as the “flagship” model. Times have changed, however a decent 4K UHD test is now required at the same ultra settings as the 1080p test should sort out the good GPU’s from the nearly good GPU’s.

The standard philosophy would be VRAM, the more the merrier. So the XFX R9 390X should still do well here, despite the high-end grunt of the other flagship cards, let’s find out.

The answer would appear to be yes, the 8Gb VRAM of the XFX R9 390X has made a difference, it’s by far not the worst performer, and in the minimum FPS category, it’s in second place.

The Palit Super Jetstream GTX 980 Ti is the king here though, the combination of 6Gb VRAM and the GPU’s power pushes ahead of its main flagship rivals.

If you don't get a couple of AMD HBM  graphics cards for your rig, and would prefer a single card set up, this is the card for you. The cooling package and the GPU core speed increase impacts in a really balanced way, but always for the better. It's good-looking too, and the sound performance is as good as a GTX 970, it's only the price you need a strong stomach for. This product is recommended, however it received a lower score than usual due to the packaging issues we have seen. Get a good one and you'll love it!
