Palit Super Jetstream GTX 980 Ti Graphics Card Review

Overall, the Palit Super Jetstream GTX 980 Ti is a super performer, though beaten by the three AMD flagship cards. AMD really steal the show here, especially with Double-Precision FLOPS performance. In the war between AMD and Nvidia fanboys there’s only one winner here.

The Palit Super Jetstream GTX 980 Ti provides a mixed bag of results, all still good however. The AMD cards showing their muscle in the Double-Precision results. The cross over in memory technology will keep AMD ahead and Nvidia behind in some tests.

We’ll discuss that more in our conclusion but for now, AMD’s HBM and other refinements to the last generation of cores means synthetically at least, they are out in front on their own merit.

If you don't get a couple of AMD HBM  graphics cards for your rig, and would prefer a single card set up, this is the card for you. The cooling package and the GPU core speed increase impacts in a really balanced way, but always for the better. It's good-looking too, and the sound performance is as good as a GTX 970, it's only the price you need a strong stomach for. This product is recommended, however it received a lower score than usual due to the packaging issues we have seen. Get a good one and you'll love it!
