You’ll get more than the usual instructions with several languages getting their own version and the usual accessories, including a tube of thermal paste.
The P.A.T.S coated fins show themselves off well here and black is a very good colour for matching almost any system without too much of a colour clash.
The heatsink is completely covered by the PH-F120MP fan. With the standard way the fan is mounted, four screws, we think most fans could be mounted to the heatsink, giving you a few more options should you need them.
The business end of any cooler, not the smoothest, but as our tests mostly show, it is not always important.

As a standard CPU cooler the Phanteks PH-TC12LS is a good stock replacement from a performance standpoint. For looks alone, it's a very minimal design, but it's all well thought out and presented. We had no mounting issues, though it's going to clash with memory that has tall heat spreaders installed. As a low profile cooler it works really well. Any HTPC that has a mid-range and higher CPU will benefit from having this cooler installed.
