Metallicgear Neo Micro ATX Mid-Tower Chassis Review

30th April 2019 1070 Like

MetallicGear is a sub-brand of Phanteks so you may have heard of them, but you'll most likely know Phanteks. Sub-brands are popular for a number of reasons, including expanding a market share, breaking out of a stereotype, research and development, or possibly an acquisition. Phanteks are an award-winning company so they will know a thing or two about design and what a good chassis looks like.

Anidees AI5S Windowed Mid-Tower Chassis Review

25th June 2017 494 Like

We’ve had a couple of Anidees chassis here at Hardwareslave for review in the past, and we really liked them. We are not just saying that because we receive review samples, but because of a couple of reasons, one of which is specific to the chassis we are reviewing today. Firstly, Anidees actively listen to feedback from enthusiasts, so, your idea may end up in a future product. Secondly, the AI5S chassis is a good example of the types of design they release. There’s no optical bay, so no cluttered front panel, and there isn’t even a space for it behind the front panel, so the chassis can fill itself with more important things, like radiators, fans, and high-end components.

Anidees AI7 Black Cube Chassis Review

27th June 2016 494 Like

We reviewed the Anidees AI8 last week and it’s a stellar chassis, excellent for water cooling or anything else you want to put into an unobstructed internal space. Also, what looks to be a genuine principle of end-user feedback to help and evolve Anidees product range, means if you pick these guys up and become a brand fan, you may end up with some class leading products in the not too distant future.

You may have seen it all before, but if you haven’t, there are a lot of computer chassis out there, so which one do you pick? Firstly, you need to forget about your mates, or the flamers and trollers. For the latter groups, they are right about everything, so no matter what you do, it’s wrong. So where does this leave you? The Cooltek CT GT-04 chassis is part of Cooltek’s gaming tower series of chassis. Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 Rev.B Chassis Review

4th November 2015 461 Like

Nanoxia are a name you should know, and their Deep Silence chassis already has a following out there in modders land. With that said, it’s hard for a designer and manufacturer of system chassis and other cooling components to make a name for themselves in the shadow of the mainstream corporations.

Raijintek Aeneas mATX Cube Chassis Review

6th October 2015 360 Like

We are big fans of the mITX form factor, and big fans of the full ATX form factor, but for all those who fancy something a little in between, what about a mATX cube chassis? There are a couple around and the double width internal areas making for interesting system configurations, you'd be a fool to overlook them. Raijintek are a familiar name to most and they have sent over their Aeneas mATX Cube Chassis for review. Good timing, as we are reviewing the EASUS z170M Plus Motherboard and that's an mATX form factor.

We were looking around for a chassis for a gaming build we were thinking about and we figured we needed to think about the NZXT H440. We had picked this for a watercooling build but a change of mind pushed us down a different path on that one. So, we figured this would be perfect for the gaming build and something nice and high spec.

Aerocool Aero-1000 White Chassis Review

There are probably as many chassis designs and manufacturers out there as mice, surfaces and keyboard, so you would be forgiven if you struggle from time to time when trying to pick a new one. gone are the days of tall or small beige boxes and their horrid green or brown motherboards making PC's as interesting as keyboards used to be and not much more appealing. Now, we have the opposite situation with manufacturers catching up with modders, who to be honest, created the modern fashions along with the overclockers.

Thermaltake Core V1 mITX Chassis Review

27th November 2014 786 Like

Small form factor chassis are fast becoming the modders norm with a full range of well-designed and almost niche market chassis being released. Gone are the days of being exclusive to HTPCs and welcome the days of high powered mITX rigs and Steam Boxes. With the surge in high quality and gaming focused small form factor motherboards, there has never been a better time to go small. Thermaltake also produces a range of chassis, one of which we are reviewing today, the Thermaltake Core V1 mITX Chassis.
