With the standard still fan fitted in this shot, the rear of the heatsink is flush, and the shroud covers the top of the heatsink. We’ve put black rubber isolators on the rear of the fan, and it looks excellent with multicolours on the front.
Next, we mount the multicoloured Chromax range of accessories and the fan itself!
It’s weird, because it’s no longer Noctua, even though we have been calling out for this, and it looks excellent, it may take a little getting used to for die-hard Noctua fans, of which we count ourselves among.

As a review, there's no real performance element for the Noctua Chromax range, the fans are the standard fans, just in a different colour. This is all about how it looks, and will this make a difference to the Noctua range and the beige branding that is loved or hated. Noctua is an industry-leading brand in performance and design, and that sounds a little like a tagline, but it's something they live up to.
