The Stinger is a premium motherboard with a price to match. However, you get what you pay for with the quality packaging from EVGA so far.
The motherboard also came with a fold out help leaflet attached to the CPU cover plate, a thoughtful addition for all of you who are a little nervous about installing a CPU.
The Stinger has some very nice features, and a cool heatsink on the VRM, providing passive cooling.
There’s not much else to write home about, it’s small, black in colour with some highlights and well put together. Our only complain is the lack of a USB 2.0 internal port, essential for some AIO coolers.
